Philippines — Southeast Asia hub and green energy division
Teemway Philippines Inc. was established in 2024 to serve two roles: a regional sourcing and distribution hub for Southeast Asia, and the group's green energy division focused on solar photovoltaic systems and eco-power projects.
1. Southeast Asia sourcing and distribution hub
As trade patterns shift toward diversified Asian sourcing, the Philippines office positions Teemway Group to serve regional customers across the Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore with faster response times than shipments routed through Hong Kong or Shenzhen.
The hub handles regional customer relationships, sample distribution, and coordination of regional supplier capacity where a customer's programme calls for non-China origin.
2. Green energy division
The Philippines office anchors the group's expansion into solar photovoltaic systems and eco-power projects. The division develops solar PV project pipelines in the Philippine domestic market, evaluates energy-storage and charging hardware sourcing to pair with PV installations, and represents the group's ESG commitment in Southeast Asia.
The group previously held a memorandum of understanding covering BYD ESS and EV charger product interest, effective October 2023 for a 12-month term. That MOU expired in October 2024 and is not currently active; Teemway Group is not an authorized BYD distributor. See the historical record →
